Ordering & pricing

What is your minimum order?

300 pieces for laser-marked catalogue parts, 500 for custom colour or packaging, 1,000–3,000 for new tooling. Different models can combine to reach the total — a container is a container, whatever is inside it.

Do you publish a price list?

No. Prices move with aluminium, zinc and freight, and a public list would be wrong within a quarter. A written quote is valid for 30 days and states the exchange rate it was calculated at, so both sides know what moves the number.

Can I get samples before ordering?

Catalogue samples ship within three working days; you pay the courier and the samples are credited against the first order. Custom parts follow the prototype route — 3D print, then CNC, then tool sample — because a photo of a rendering has never held a load.

How do I place an order?

Written PO against our written quotation, countersigned. Production starts on the tooling deposit (for OEM) or on confirmation (for catalogue). We do not take orders by voice message, because "I thought you said" is not a spec.

Tooling & OEM

Who owns the tooling?

You do, once it is paid for. We store it free for three years, maintain it, and it never runs for another customer. The clause is in the supply agreement, not in a brochure.

What if I want to move the tool to another factory?

You can. The tool is yours and we will release it against your shipping instructions. We ask for three weeks' notice to schedule the packing — a die in a crate is a die that arrives working.

How long does new tooling take?

18–25 working days from tool design sign-off. The clock does not start when you send the drawing — it starts when you approve the tool design, because that is when steel gets cut.

Can you sign an NDA?

Yes, before you send anything. Send yours or ask for ours; a countersigned copy comes back the same day.

Quality & claims

What happens if a shipment fails inspection?

Three options, in writing: we re-work and re-inspect at our cost; we replace the failed quantity in the next shipment with freight on us; or we credit the invoice. The choice is yours, not ours. What we do not do is ask you to "accept with discount" without telling you what the defect was.

Who pays for third-party inspection?

The buyer, usually — SGS, TÜV, Intertek or Bureau Veritas, your choice. We prepare the samples, the paperwork and the desk. If a lot fails a fairly conducted inspection, the inspection fee is ours.

What is your defect rate, honestly?

Internal first-pass yield by process, trailing 12 months: die casting 96.8%, stamping 98.9%, injection 99.2%, assembly 99.6%. Everything below the line is rework or scrap, and the split is on the traveller. We publish these because a factory that cannot state its own yield is guessing at yours.

Do you keep spare parts for discontinued models?

Five years after a model is discontinued: bolts, wing nuts, cradles, pads, caster wheels. Minimum order 50 pieces. A distributor should never scrap a rack because a 40-cent part broke.

Shipping & payment

What payment terms do you offer?

First orders: 30% with PO, 70% against B/L copy. Repeat customers with six clean shipments move to 30/70 net 30 days, then negotiate from there. We do not do 100% open terms on a first order — anyone who offers you that is pricing the risk into something you cannot see.

FOB, CIF or DDP?

FOB Shanghai is standard. CIF to your port on request. DDP to a US or EU DC is quoted with duty and clearance shown as separate lines, so you can see exactly what the landed number is made of.

Can you consolidate other suppliers' goods into one container?

Yes, and for a first-time buyer it is often the single biggest saving. We charge handling per CBM, and the consolidation is insured while goods are in our warehouse.

Can I visit the factory?

Yes — Shanghai, with three working days' notice. We collect you from Pudong or Hongqiao. You will see the machines, the quarantine bin, and the inspection bench, in that order.
