TRUSSMITH Hardware Co., Ltd. ("TRUSSMITH", "we") manufactures stage, studio and store hardware in Shanghai, China. This policy explains what we do with information collected through trussmith.com and through enquiries that start here.

We do not run advertising trackers, we do not build profiles, and we do not sell data. There is no newsletter signup on this site, so there is no mailing list to be added to.
Where the GDPR applies, we rely on legitimate interest (answering a business enquiry you initiated, keeping commercial records) and on contract necessity once an order exists. Where consent is required for anything else, we ask for it separately and you can withdraw it at any time.
We do not pass enquiry data to trading companies, lead brokers or anyone who would cold-call you.
You can ask for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to [email protected] and we will answer within 30 days. If a record has to be kept for tax or customs reasons we will tell you which one and why, rather than simply refusing.
Our plant and servers are outside the EU and the UK. If you are in those regions, your enquiry will be processed in China and, for email delivery, in the United States. We keep the data set small — a name, a company, an address and a drawing — precisely because it has to travel.
The site is served over TLS only. Access to the enquiry inbox is limited to the sales and engineering staff who answer it. Drawings are stored on an access-controlled file server, not on a public link.
This site sets no marketing or analytics cookies. Cloudflare may set a strictly necessary security cookie to distinguish a normal visitor from a bot; it carries no personal data and expires within hours.
If this policy changes materially, the date at the foot of the page changes with it. We do not backdate edits.
